What inspires you to compete?
One of the main things that inspires me to compete is working hard and see rewards for that hard work. There are all kinds of rewards, faster lap times, better results, or something as simple as mastering a tough section on the track.
Why do you like this sport?
Motocross and snocross are sports that you can not hide behind a team. If you do not train and practice there is no hiding it and your results will show it.
Some Personal Information About Me:
Some facts about me I have been moutaineering for a number of years. I have summited Rainer and Denali and several other peaks.
Describe your style...
My style is not what you would call smooth, I muscle the bike or sled around the track. I focus on making my last lap as fast as my first. There has been a number times I have been running in fifth for over half the race and then I start picking people off on the last 3 or 4 laps because their lap times start falling off in the later stages of the race.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
Yes I train. During the season I will practice 3 to 4 times a week and on days I do not ride I will cross train. With main focus on cardio with some high rep strength work. In the off season I will do 5 days of cross training with a mix of cardio and strength.
