Profile Questions
Why won’t my video upload?
To upload a video, it must be less than 70 mg and must be one of the following file types: wmv, .mpg, .asx, .mov, .mpeg, .avi, .mp4.
If you are having a problem uploading video, it will generally be the file size, a timeout issue, or a combination of the two.
An inactive account (defined as any account that hasn't had a link clicked on within a certain amount of time) will time out and log you off after 30 minutes. Because the video upload screen is stationary and does not tell the system you are still on the site, you will get logged off after 30 minutes of uploading time.
This means that if your computer and internet connection only allows you to upload one mg a minute, the largest video you would be able to download would be 30 mg.
On average, most computers and DSL connections will only allow you to upload a video that is 50 mg or less.
If your video is the correct size and file type and you are still having issues uploading it, please contact the Loop'd Network through the support center. Including the following information in your message:
- video file size
- your browser
- your operating system
- the video itself, sent as an attachment, if possible
