What inspires you to compete?

My love and passion for the sports. I love staying in shape and pushing myself in every aspect of motocross. I have a big heart for this sport and I will push it to the very end.

Describe your style...

I try to ride very smooth and relaxed so my style is very smooth with a little bit of Lance Armstrong in there..

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train pretty much everyday. My program has gotten better over the last years and I split my time right now between the gym, running, riding and my roadbike. Right now during the rainy season I spend more time in the gym strengthening and long distance runs. I keep my cardio zone training low and as the weather clears up I push it more to zone 4 and 5 training.

Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

I road a little bit as a kid but didn't really get serious into motocross until 2001. I was dating my future wife whose cousin was married to Steve Lamson. She took me to a bunch of races and I was hooked.

List your competitive highlights:

Besides some local event championships my best finishes were at the 2008 Hangtown National I got a 3rd in the +25 intermediate class a 6th in the +25 intermediate class at the world vet nationals.

What are you planning for next season?

Going to race as many big events that I can afford to..mostly the Glen Helen Amateur national, the Dodge national, Hangtown Amateur national, the World Vet Nationls, Police Games in LA and the California State MX championships..
